Where to Buy Handmade Planters and Pots Online for Your House Plants

I have a large collection of house plants in my house, and of course, these plants need planters. I think the planter is just as important a choice as the plant! Carefully selected planters and pots can really make your favorite plants stand out and become a focal point in your home.

I wrote an article called “Where to Buy Awesome Planters Online for Your House Plants“, highlighting my favorite sources for finding planters online.  But I also love to purchase planters that are handmade. Handmade planters can be whimsical, stylish, and unique, and I think they add a lot of interest to an indoor plant collection.

In this article, I’ll share with you some of the really cool handmade planters I’ve discovered. These planters and pots have been handmade by small business owners with shops on Etsy. Let’s take a look at some of my favorites…

In no particular order, here are some of my favorite handmade sellers and their pots and planters.

BellaVistaCanyon

BellaVistaCanyon makes planters out of concrete. The planters look like islands and are very unique. They are sleek and modern, and perfect for succulents and air plants.

etcArts

etcArts makes some really unique planters!

The planters are made of white stoneware that were wheel-thrown and then squared. They have a liquid texture to the design. The pots have drainage holes and tripod feed. Each pot is a one-of-a-kind pot – perfect for any houseplant collection.

BrightBobcat

Looking for something really fun and unique? Check out the handmade pots by BrightBobcat – they’re sure to make your plants happy!

TandemCeramics

From windowsill planters to table top planters, TandemCeramics has a very nice selection!

The planters are made from a high-fire porcelain and are hand painted, made to order. Very simple, yet stylish, lines to this collection of planters.

OrlyRabinowitz

These colorful planters are made using clay to give them the color! The technique is called Millefiori and the results are beautiful. These planters are handmade by OrlyRabinowitz – check them out!

SINDstudio

Check out these fun face planters from SINDstudio!

The faces are laughing, grumpy, and kissing and are playful and whimsical. They made perfect planters for cactus and small plants, and the faces will make you smile.

3DPlanted

Wow! The planters made by 3DPlanted are all 3D printed, and they are amazing!

There are planters that look like they’re carved out of wood, marble, and stone. The colors and details are really interesting. I think these planters would make any plant happy!

WaldMade

WaldMade makes planters that are made with cement and reclaimed wood. The planters have a modern and natural look – perfect for any plants.

JoanLaidigCeramics

JoanLaidigCeramics makes these planters out of clay, glazes them, and hand paints them. They each have fun designs on them, and would look good holding a variety of different houseplants.
