Since my job is an online store and mentoring ecommerce business owners, I spend a LOT of time online each day. While most of that time is spent working, I do occasionally stumble across websites, articles, and cool things that I really like. I save these things to a Pinterest board, so someday when I have some free time, I can go back to that board and enjoy the things I found.
Here are three random things (in no particular order) that I am really loving this week. Maybe you’ll find them interesting, too!
#1 – Hypertufa
I spotted these pots this week and it reminded me of a project I wanted to start several years ago…. About three years ago I bought a bag of hypertufa in order to make my own planters, similar to the ones below. I gathered the containers I wanted to use as my forms, but then got busy with other projects and never did get around to completing this project. That bag of hypertufa is still sitting on the shelf I put it on, still waiting for me to get creative and create. I really am hoping I can make time this Summer to make these pots! I love the look of natural stone, and the shapes I have in mind for these pots are going to be so cool! Have you ever worked with hypertufa?
#2 – Victrola Portable Turntable
I miss my old portable turntable that I had when I was a kid. I used that record player ALL THE TIME. I still have all my vinyl 45’s and all my albums. I would love to play them again – scratches and all. I’ve been looking for a portable record player that had a vintage style. With Amazon Prime Day the other day, look what I found!
#3 – BlackFly Personal Aircraft Transportation
All I can say is WOW! This BlackFly vehicle would be the most incredible way to travel! I can imagine flying around in this, feeling free as a bird. I think this is an amazing invention and seriously wish I could fly one right now! My husband shared this with me this past week – he knows me very well. 😉
