A posh indoor firepit, a tabletop water fountain, and a cool glass cloche… Check out this week’s fun finds!
#1 – Indoor Firepit
There’s nothing quite like sitting outside at night around the open flames of a fire pit while watching the stars.
Well, now you can bring the fire pit indoors with an indoor table top fire pit like this one!
I think a fire pit like this would be awesome on our black marble dining room table – dining by fire light versus by candlelight. How romantic!
These fire pits run off of bio ethanol and actually will heat up a small space. The extra heat in our dining room this past Winter would have been nice, and even for cool Spring evenings I think this would be awesome. I haven’t bought one of these (yet), but it’s definitely on my “wish list”!
#2 – Tabletop Water Fountain
When our boys were just toddlers, I bought each of them a water fountain for their bedrooms. The sound of the running water was calming and they loved listening to that as we rocked them each to sleep each night.
This past week, I spotted this fountain and it brought back the memories of the fountains our boys had in their rooms. I’d like to have a fountain like this running on our center island throughout the day. I’m sure our cats would love it, too, so that could be an issue. But if I could keep the cats away, I think I’d enjoy this sound. And with the tabletop fire pit above, we could have a little “fire and ice” in our combined kitchen / dining room. Cool.
What do you think? Would you like the subtle sound of running water in your home while you worked?
#3 – Glass Cloche
I love items made of clear glass – especially cloches! There are just SO many possibilities for a glass cloche. They can be used indoors to display special trinkets and treasures. They can hold photographs and other mementos. They can also be used outside on a patio or deck, or even in a garden.
I spotted this large glass cloche online this past week on a website I’d never heard of before. Ends up, it’s a store here in Minnesota called AtHome. While you can’t shop their website online, you can create a wishlist – complete with the aisle number the item is in – and bring that to the store with you while you shop. I’m really hoping to get to this store in the cities soon so I can grab three of these cloches for our front patio decor. I have a couple sensitive plants I think will look perfect in them!
How about you? Did you spot something online this week that you love? Share in a comment below!
You can find links to all three things on Pinterest at Things I Like and you can find some of these things in my Amazon Marketplace Storefront.
NOTE: Since my job is an online store and mentoring ecommerce business owners, I spend a LOT of time online each day. While most of that time is spent working, I do occasionally stumble across websites, articles, and cool things that I really like. I save these things to a Pinterest board, so someday when I have some free time, I can go back to that board and enjoy the things I found. I enjoy sharing these fun finds with you, and hope you find them interesting, too!
I always enjoy this part of your blog. You come up with such interesting things to feature.
