But… hopefully not for another 6 or 7 months!
It’s a heat wave here in Minnesota.
The temperature made it to 69-degrees today. YAY for Spring!!! The majority of the snow has been gone for less than a week, and already the grass is starting to turn GREEN.
I spotted this small patch of snow in our woods, and had to quickly capture this photo – the last snow of the season. Why? Not because I want to remember it, oh no! Only because I want to look at the photo and be happy that the snow is GONE!
The lakes still have ice on them, but that ice is melting fast and soon the lakes will be open water.
Open.
Running.
Moving.
Water!
It’s amazing how much you can miss something as simple as moving water after 6 months of nothing but snow and ice.
