#1 – Yellow Rubber Duckie Coffee Mug
When I spotted this duck coffee mug, I couldn’t help but feel happy. For as long as I can remember, I have had a “thing” for yellow rubber duckies. When our kids were small, I bought them 200 yellow rubber ducks in different styles and they played with these ducks in our pool all the time. So many fun memories! I also have about 50 yellow rubber ducks that float in the reflection pond we built off our back patio. You can see this pond from the house, and those yellow ducks bobbing around in the water bring a smile to all the faces that see them. I also have a bunch of yellow rubber duckie snowball makers that we use in the Winter. I like to bring one with me every time I go to town – I make snow ducks everywhere for people to discover. It’s fun! So when I saw this coffee mug, I knew it would become a favorite!
Of course you can (and should) use this mug for coffee, but I like to use it for other beverages, as well. Hot cocoa, smoothies, tea, slushies – they all taste better in this mug. 😉 The mug also works great for quick breakfasts – just add an egg, a pat of butter, a bit of shredded cheese, diced green onion, and bits of ham or bacon. Stir the contents, then pop it in the microwave for 90 seconds and you have a tasty cup omelet – with a cute face! Use several of these mugs for a party to serve small candies or snacks, or even to hold utensils. So many fun ways to use this!
#2 – Pre de Provence Artisanal Soap Bar, Agrumes
I know. It looks like just another bar of soap. But this Pre de Provence Artisanal Soap smells fantastic and feels so luxurious!
I was looking for bar soap that smells like oranges – something to energize me every morning in the Winter. I tried a few different brands, but found that this one is the best! This brand of soap creates a rich and creamy lather and it moisturizes your skin so well. It’s perfect for the shower or bath, or even has a hand soap on a bathroom vanity. The soap is very long-lasting and affordable. The Agrumes scent invigorates with the scent of grapefruit, citron, and orange. If you need a boost of energy this Winter, I highly recommend this soap!
#3 – Candied Orange Peel Twist Garnish
There are several fun ways to use these Candied Orange Peel Twists – and they are all yummy! I think everyone should keep a jar of these on hand – they really are fun to use.
We love using these candied orange twists for our monthly cocktail club – they make any cocktail taste better. Just place a twist on the rim of a glass and then you can nibble on the orange while drinking your beverage. But these twists aren’t just for cocktails! I like to use them on hot cocoa, too. There is something magical about the mixture of chocolate and oranges – so tasty! The candied orange twists also make a zesty topping on cupcakes (which you can make from my Grandma’s Crazy Cake recipe). You can even use these orange twists on a glass of ice water to turn it into something special. I just have to keep a jar of these orange peel twists on hand at all times – you never know when you’ll need them!
