#1 – Wood Letter Board Set
This wood letter board set is so clever! Set this board on a kitchen counter or on a table in your entryway and use it to leave inspirational quotes for your family and friends. The letters sit on ledges on the board, so they are easy to move and manipulate into words. This is really a fun piece of decor and it can be used in lots of different ways.
I have to say, you will probably want more letters than what comes with this set. But… you can very easily print your own letter cards using your computer printer and cardstock paper. Just use a business card template and type each letter of the alphabet on a different card. Print on cardstock, then cut the cards out. By customizing your own letters in this way, you can make them any color you want (assuming you have a color printer). You can also choose fonts and include symbols and icons. There are LOTS of ways to customize the letter cards for this board. Be creative!
#2 – Bento Box
Okay. I admit it. I am obsessed with this bento box! Especially this color! This snack box is divided into two sections and has a lid that snaps on and keeps the two sections separate. This bento box is perfect for bringing lunch to work, but it has lots of other uses as well.
I like using these boxes for individual charcuterie boards when we entertain – each guest gets their own box. This is especially helpful when we’re hanging out at the pool – everyone can sit wherever they want around the pool and enjoy their snacks. There’s no need to get up and refill a plate at a central buffet table. I also especially love this cream color because it’s neutral and fits with any decor or any theme you have for a party. You can even make your own stickers/labels for the box to decorate them for parties. I like making stickers with our friends and family names on them so everyone can keep track of their own snack box while visiting. The boxes are also great for desserts – again, one box per person for individual treats. We love using these boxes with graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolates at the firepit when stargazing with friends. We also like packing snacks in these boxes to eat while driving to our lake cabin and back – much better (and healthier) than stopping for fast food along the way.
I love that the boxes stack – it makes it much easier to carry them in a tote out to the pool or firepit or patio, or to stack in a cooler.
These boxes are so inexpensive, you can purchase enough for all your party guests or for all your family members. The boxes are dishwasher safe (except for the lid), so they are very easy to clean and reuse. They are large enough to hold enough snacks for one person, but not so large that they are hard to hold.
Yes. I am obsessed. And if you get several of these boxes, you will be too!
#3 – Bedside Water Carafe
I am really enjoying this bedside water carafe – it has so many uses! Sure, you can use it next to your bed for fresh water – just fill the carafe and place the drinking cup on top as the lid. Then when you wake up at 3:15am and need water, you just remove the lid, pour water into it and enjoy. But this carafe has other uses as well…
Use two carafes on your patio to enjoy an ice-cold lemonade or iced tea when visiting with a friend. The cap keeps out any pests and since the carafe holds 24-ounces, there’s plenty of lemonade for a nice long visit. You could also use the carafe to hold your favorite wine, then go sit outside with a good book after dinner and relax. You can also use the carafe as a flower vase and the lid/cup as a small candy dish – fun for placing on your center island to bring a bit of extra happiness to your space. And, if you have a cocktail party with friends, you can premake a bunch of cocktails before your guests arrive and put the cocktails in these carafes – one carafe set for each person.
