#1 – Rainbow Maker

Add some color and sparkle to your room with this Rainbow Maker!

I’ve had a Rainbow Maker in our kitchen window since the year 2001. I’ve also bought this item as gifts for quite a few friends – we all love this! It’s solar powered, so make sure to put it in a window that gets plenty of sunlight. When the sun hits the solar panel, the crystal spins and casts sparkles and rainbows all around your room. Our cats absolutely love chasing the rainbows – it keeps them busy for hours!

Hang this in your kitchen for a bright surprise. Place it in a bathroom as a fun way to start each day. Hang it on an entry way door as a colorful way to greet guests. Wherever you place it, you’re sure to enjoy it.

#2 – Natural Water Humidifier

This Natural Water Humidifier is just what your plants need – and they look cool, too!

If you’re like me and enjoy keeping plants in your house, you’ll definitely appreciate this natural humidifier. The humidity in our house is pretty low right now – around 20%. When using these humidifiers, I was able to raise the humidity near the plants to 40% in just a few minutes. I really LOVE that these humidifiers don’t use any power – just fill the ceramic bowl with water, add the porous (and hollow) clay sphere to the bowl and let it do its job! The porous sphere absorbs the water, which then evaporates into the air – very similar to how a pebble tray of water works for plants. I also really like the sleek look of these spheres.

Sure, these natural water humidifiers are not going to add a ton of humidity to your entire home, but that’s not what they were designed for. When nestled among a group of plants, they work great.

You could also place one of these humidifiers next to your bed at night to help raise the humidity near where you sleep.

#3 – Escape Tote Bag

Escape to your favorite destination with this Escape Tote Bag.

I love this bag! Everything from the colors to the ESCAPE lettered on the side. Sure, this tote bag is perfect for overnights at the cabin, a day spent on the beach, a picnic in the park, a night of star gazing on a country road, or an afternoon at the pool. But I also like to use this bag as a piece of home decor. I have this bag in our master bedroom, sitting among a bunch of plants that are near our door. I’ve used it to hold a potted plant (looks really cool), as well as to hold houseplant tools, such as my watering cans and trimmers. I also like using the bag to hold extra throw blankets and throw pillows from our room. You could also hang this bag on a doorknob on your front door, and use it to hold incoming and outgoing mail, or hats and gloves, or slippers for when you return home. No matter where you use it, or how you use it, it’s sure to look handsome in any decor.

You can find product links to all three things on Pinterest at Things I Like and you can find some of these things in my Amazon Marketplace Storefront.

NOTE: Since my job is an online store and mentoring ecommerce business owners, I spend a LOT of time online each day. While most of that time is spent working, I do occasionally stumble across websites, articles, and cool things that I really like. I save these things to a Pinterest board, so someday when I have some free time, I can go back to that board and enjoy the things I found. I enjoy sharing these fun finds with you, and hope you find them interesting, too!
