Okay. I might probably have an obsession with throw pillows.
What can I say? Throw pillows can completely change the look of any room, and when you know where to score the best deals on quality pillows, it’s an affordable decor must-have item.
I really love to change up the style of our great room with different throw pillows and throw blankets. I recently bought a bunch of pillows and just had to share this with you. I’m SO excited about these pillows! (Yeah, it doesn’t take much to get me excited).
Lately, I’ve been into this boho look with black and white. I love the different textures and patterns, and this style makes our otherwise minimalist, monochrome, mid century modern great room look fabulous. Our cream/ivory colored leather furniture has black suede pillows on them that we’ve had for over 20 years. I added the pillows below to the couch and love seat, along with the black suede pillows, and the look is everything I hoped it would be.
Favorite Sources?
I’ve purchased throw pillows from a wide variety of online sources, especially in recent months. Some have been awesome, others have been complete duds. My most favorite place to buy throw pillows? Hands down – it’s TJ Maxx online. Not only are the pillows high-quality, they are affordable, too!
A second online source is World Market. Like TJ Maxx, their inventory changes often, so when you see something you like, you need to buy it right away! World Market prices are affordable, though slightly higher than TJ Maxx, but you can apply for their (free) rewards program and can oftentimes save money that way (especially saving money on shipping).

Patina Vie 20×20 Textured Woven Pillow
This pillow is seriously awesome! It’s black and ivory and the pattern is really cool. This is a high-quality pillow with a hidden zipper. The backside is black fabric and the front side is a polyester material. Not only do I love the pattern, but the texture is also really nice. The pillow is fairly heavy and it’s quality is made to last.
Because the pillow is made with neutral colors, I think it would fit in well with any decor. Mix it with a bunch of your favorite colored pillows, or pair it with other neutral pillows.

Brentwood 14×24 Textured Bullseye Pillow
This lumbar pillow might be one of my most favorites. I love the bullseye pattern and the texture is awesome!
This is another high-quality pillow and I think it would add interest to any decor. This pillow is so comfortable behind your back while binge watching Better Call Saul on Netflix. I think I need to get a couple more of these pillows to use on the patio next Spring – they would be great as lumbar support on patio furniture and just look so cool.

Brentwood 14×20 Embroidered Pillow
I love the tassels on this pillow! So do our cats.
Again, the quality and workmanship of this pillow is exceptional. The pattern is tightly woven and is interesting to look at. The pillow is very comfortable, too. It looks awesome with the other pillows listed here, but would also look great combined with colored pillows. So many possibilities for using this pillow!

Oversized Ghicha Lumbar Pillow
Wowza! This lumbar pillow is so incredible! It was handcrafted in India from recycled Ghicha fabrics.
The texture, the material, and the colors just make this pillow stand out. It’s very comfortable, too!
This Ghicha pillow retails for $29.99. I was fortunate enough to get this pillow for just $16.99 at World Market.
TIP: When I first spotted this pillow, it was on sale for $19.99. I had just bought some other pillows and wanted to wait for them to arrive before ordering this pillow. When I went back to order this pillow, it was full price again. I had a feeling it would go on sale again, so on the World Market website, I used the “Get Price Alerts” link to get an email when it was on sale again. As soon as I got that email, I placed my order. I also used my World Market rewards points for free shipping, and I had a discount code for another 15% off. Score!
Geometric Jacquard Pillow
Of course I love the colors of this pillow, but it’s the pattern and the texture that really makes this pillow awesome.
This pillow is large and plump and oh so comfortable! It fits right in with the other pillows above. I love the pattern it adds to the overall look.
