Today was an exciting day here in Minnesota. The ice went out on the large pond/mini lake on our property! Trust me. Winters are L O N G in Minnesota. So when you get to see OPEN WATER again for the first time in 6 months, it’s a pretty darn big thing.
With the open water, we are graced with Trumpeter Swans, Sandhill Cranes, Canada Geese, Mallards, and Mergansers – and they were all here today! They are enjoying the lack of snow and the open, running water just as much as my family and I are. I’m so glad it’s SPRING!
Soon, the brown will be gone, and everything will be GREEN again! I love Spring!
