This Never Never Plant has beautiful variegated leaves and is sure to be a focal plant in your collection.
About the Plant
The Never Never Plant is also known as a Brazilian Snow Plant or Bamburanta Plant.
This tropical plant is a very hardy, easy-to-grow plant! The plant is native to Brazil.
The best lighting for this plant is bright indirect light. The variegation in the leaves can disappear if the plant doesn’t get enough light, and with too much light, the leaves will fade.
Make sure to keep the Never Never Plant soil consistently moist, but not soggy. The leaves of this plant will roll up into tubes if not given enough water. The leaves open back up when watered thoroughly. Since this is a tropical plant, it does prefer humidity versus dry air. You can mist the leaves or put the plant on a pebble tray of water to increase the humidity for the plant. It also prefers temperatures of 60 degrees F or more, and doesn’t like cold drafts.
The Never Never Plant can grow up to 4-feet tall by about 3-feet in diameter. If you plan to keep this plant indoors, you’ll want to make sure you have the space for it. This plant is a rapid growing plant.
This plant is not toxic to humans or pets.
Why I Love It
This is the first Never Never Plant I’ve had, and I am in love with it! I really love the unique pattern in the leaves – no two leaves are the same. I also really like the overall form of the plant – it’s upright, elongated leaves give this plant a lot of character.

I got my Never Never Plant online at HomeDepot for $19.98 in a 6″ pot (approximately 1-1/2-foot tall – it arrived as shown in the first photo below). You can also find this plant at CaliforniaTropicals on Etsy for $34.99 in a 6″ pot.
