Oh my goodness. This cocktail is so g-o-o-o-o-d! It goes down like Kool-aid, so be careful with this one. 😉
The Corpse Reviver No. 2 cocktail was created by Harry Craddock in the 1930’s. He stated “Four of these taken in swift succession will quickly un-revive the corpse again.” He wasn’t wrong.
This cocktail is definitely one of our most favorites. It is typically served in a coupe glass. Give it a try!

Corpse Reviver No. 2
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 oz. Lemon Juice
- 1 oz. Triple Sec
- 1 oz. Lillet Blanc
- 1 oz. Gin (we especially like Citadel Gin in this cocktail)
- Spray of Absinthe in glass
- Lemon twist for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Add lemon juice, triple sec, Lillet Blanc, and gin to a Boston Shaker.
- Add several large ice cubes to the Boston Shaker and shake for at least 10 seconds to chill the cocktail.
- Spray absinthe into empty coupe glass to coat the inside of the glass.
- Use a Hawthorne strainer and pour contents of shaker into prepared glass.
- Finish with a lemon twist as a garnish.
