Black Bamboo
I wanted candles to use in our living room that were in a black container – something that would blend in with our furniture (the black), and give off a nice candle glow at night when watching movies or home improvement shows with my husband (I know – home improvement shows by candlelight? You should try it! LOL). While we both love candlelight, we’re picky about the scents. We like scents that are light and not overpowering. Scents that are fresh but not flowery. Something clean smelling, but not medicinal. Something unique, not a scent you smell often. THESE candles are perfect!
The Black Bamboo has a really clean, refreshing scent. It’s calming. I bought three of these double-wick candles and we’ve been using them for a few evenings now. They make the entire house smell great!
I really love the black jars, and the labels were easy to peel off, leaving the beautiful black jar uncluttered to look at. The lid is a rich copper color – the manufacture calls it “bronze” – and it has a rubbery seal, so it locks in the scent when we’re not using the candles. Placing the lid under the candle as a coaster lends a nice contrast between our black table and the jars too.
I bought these Black Bamboo Candles online at Target for $12.99 each. I might have to buy a few more to use in other rooms of the house. 😉
