Here’s a blast from the past…
In the late 70s around this time of year, my Mom and I would meet up with her 6 sisters from Wisconsin in downtown Minneapolis to do our Christmas Shopping. Mom always found the coolest, most unique places for us to stop and eat lunch. One place we always liked was Butler’s Square in Minneapolis – what a cool place that was!
While I was too young to drink, I remember my aunts ordering a drink called a “Bulldog”. They let me have a sip (pretty sure Mom knew), and I thought it was so good. I felt like such an “adult” hanging out with Mom and my aunts – so many good memories. I sure miss those adventures…
Today I was thinking about these shopping trips and the Bulldog, so I looked it up. Had to share this recipe with you. Enjoy!
