I always thought it would be fun to create, write, and edit a magazine. This website is the next best thing! Here, I share with you ideas for creative and original entertaining and party planning; cocktail and food recipes that I recommend; fun and creative items for home and patio decor; interesting websites you must visit; tons of information about houseplants; DIY projects and craft ideas; inspirational and thought-provoking quotes, sayings, and letterboard ideas; classic music (mostly from the 80s); and so much more. And the best part? All this… and NO ADS!
Think about this. Have you ever clicked a link on Pinterest or from a Google search that leads you to a website, BUT… couldn’t find the content you were after because of ALL. THE. ANNOYING. ADS? Yeah. Me, too.
I understand why almost all bloggers have ads on their websites – they make money off those ads when you click on them. I don’t fault those creators for wanting to make extra income – after all, who doesn’t want that?! But… those ads are downright annoying. Sometimes there are so many ads, that you literally can’t even find the content you wanted to read.
And it’s not just bloggers that do this. Network television stations do this on their websites, too. I’ve often gone to our local news television website – but with so many ads, I just ended up leaving. Frustrated that I couldn’t read the content without sitting and waiting for ad after ad after ad. Major newspapers and magazines do this, too. Just too many ads! UGH!
Some websites bombard you with ads the moment you arrive. Some websites have ads running in the sidebars. Some websites have ads running right smack dab in the middle of an article they wrote. Some websites have ALL of these things, PLUS ads that pop up out of nowhere, obliterating the content you were reading (or trying to read). So. Very. Frustrating. All that flashing and animated distractions are a visual assault and ad overload!
BUT… here’s a refreshing thought.
How about NO ADS?
Yep.
None. Zilch. Nada.
THAT is what you will find on MY website.
No Ads. Ever. Period.
And… you don’t even have to “pay” for an ad-free experience. It’s ALL here – all FREE!
Take a look around. You’ll see menu choices at the top of this website, menu choices on the right sidebar, and choices in the footer. There are current articles shown in the middle of the website on the Home page, just waiting for you to read. But… NO annoying ads anywhere.
See?! I told you that would be refreshing!!!
