#1 – Iron and Glass Night Lights
Check out these unique night lights!
We’ve been doing a lot of redecorating at home and I was looking for a new night light for two of our guest bathrooms. One bathroom has a stone and rock “theme” and the other has an “industrial rain” theme. I wanted something unique and not made of plastic. When I spotted the night light with the iron circle pattern in the glass, I knew it was the one for our “industrial rain” bathroom! It goes so well with the circle drop mirrors we’ve hung in there. The nightlight without an iron frame is now in our mud room guest bathroom. It looks like very subtle colored stones in glass and is a perfect compliment for that bathroom. The night light with the window pane look is perfect for our sons bathroom – which is decorated with all black fixtures, black marble vanities, black tile, and black commercial rubber flooring. It’s very sophisticated and “manly” looking in that bathroom.
These night lights are very well made and are heavy duty. The glass has the most interesting patterns and the iron is well crafted. The metal frame versions are very intricately made, they remind me of handcrafted stained glass windows. The night lights are definitely not the kind of lights you see every day, which is another reason I love them.
#2 – Iron and Glass Water Planters
Speaking of iron and glass…
How cool are these hydroponic vase planters?! I have a passion for plants and really enjoy keeping certain plants in clear glass vases. It’s neat to see the roots grow and I think some plants just look better when grown in water. I spotted these hanging planters this past week and thought they would look awesome hanging over a kitchen sink or over a sink in a bathroom. The planters would also look nice hung inside a window frame, giving the plants plenty of natural light.
The ropes on the planters make them look more rustic, but for a more sophisticated look, the rope could be swapped out for black leather cording or even a fine black chain.
#3 – Mid Century Style Arm Chair
I really love this chair!
I had been looking for a chair for our master bedroom. I wanted something mid century – from the 1950s or 1960s. I haven’t been able to find just the right chair from that era (yet), but I stumbled on this chair and really love it. While it’s not vintage, it does have the mid century look I was after.
This Esters Wood Arm Chair is from the Target Project 62 line of products. The chair is actually very comfortable and makes a nice spot to sit and relax after a long day. It’s well made and I like the neutral color fabric. I’ll have to write another article about how I found this chair and show pictures of it in our room – I’ll save that for another time. Stay tuned… 😉

You can find product links to all three things on Pinterest at Things I Like and you can find some of these things in my Amazon Marketplace Storefront.
NOTE: Since my job is an online store and mentoring ecommerce business owners, I spend a LOT of time online each day. While most of that time is spent working, I do occasionally stumble across websites, articles, and cool things that I really like. I save these things to a Pinterest board, so someday when I have some free time, I can go back to that board and enjoy the things I found. I enjoy sharing these fun finds with you, and hope you find them interesting, too!
